| 3 | ### Banana bread |
| 4 | ||||||||
5 | I guess it's the easiest thing to bake if you never baked before. |
| 6 | ||||||||
| 7 | Requires: |
| 8 | - 120 g of **butter**, |
| 9 | - **bananas**, overripe are better, |
| 10 | - 2 **eggs**, |
| 11 | - 100 g of **sugar**, |
| 12 | - a bit of **salt** and **vanilla powder**, |
| 13 | - 150 g of **flour**, |
| 14 | - 1 tsp. of **baking powder** (a.k.a leavening), |
| 15 | - an oven. |

| 18 | If you start now, your bread will be ready in 2 hours. It's because you need to bake and then wait until the bread is cool. |

20 | |||||||
| 21 | 1. Melt 120 g if butter, put aside to let it cool; |
| 22 | 2. Smash 250 g of bananas (250 g without skin) with a spoon and a fork to make a puree, put aside; |
23 | 3. Mix 2 eggs, 100 g of sugar, a pinch of salt, 2 pinches of vanilla powder; |
| 24 | 4. Whip the mix with a mixer for 3 minutes (go bananas) until you get a light foam; |
25 | 5. Add cooled melted butter into the mix, whip for 30 more seconds; |
26 | 6. Sift 150 g of flour + 1 tsp. of baking powder; |
27 | 7. Whip the batter, choose lower speed; |
28 | 8. Add banana puree into the batter, stir until smooth; |
29 | 9. Fold the mix into a baking pan; |
| 30 | 10. Bake for 40--45 minutes on 180 °C. |
| 31 | ||||||||
32 | When time is up, check if it's done with a chopstick. If bottom is undercooked, cover the pan with a foil and cook longer. |
33 | |||||||
| 34 | When it's done, let it cool down naturally. It's said to be important. |
