Baking
Banana bread
Note: if you start now, your bread will be ready to be eaten in 2 hours. It's because you need to bake and then wait until the bread is cool.
- Melt 120 g if butter, put aside to let it cool;
- Smash 250 g of bananas (250 g without skin) with a spoon and a fork to make a puree, put aside;
- Mix 2 eggs, 100 g of sugar, a pinch of salt, 2 pinches of vanilla powder, a pinch;
- Whip the mix until you get a light foam, better use a mixer for 3 minutes;
- Add cooled melted butter into the mix, whip for 30 more seconds;
- Sift 150 g of floor + 1 tbsp. of baking powder;
- Whip the batter, choose lower speed;
- Add banana puree into the batter, still until smooth;
- Fold the mix into a baking pan;
- Bake for 40--45 minutes on 180 °C.
When time is up, check if it's cooked with a chopstick. If bottom is undercooked, cover the pan with a foil and cook longer.
When it's done, let it cool down naturally. It's said to be important.
